Vlad was born in Romania and his passion for film came early at the age of eleven, when he began to create short movies. Though he is only in his late 20's, Vlad has managed to have a complex and diverse career, that as different as it seems, that important it is for the entertainment and filmmaking industry altogether. Since his soft more year, Vlad experimented in different fields of the creative filmmaking, from directing to writing and producing. He starts working with the most well known production companies from Romania, big studios, advertising agencies and music labels such as MediaPro Pictures, David Ogilvy or MediaPro Music, directing movies, commercials and music videos. At the same time, Vlad worked on his personal projects, looking for a personal style. After a few years, when he had absorbed all of the knowledge he could get from the European market, he decided to take his education and passion to the next level and moved to Los Angeles. His first announced project made in the heart of Hollywood, a short film entitled The Intruder was immediately selected to the Cannes Film Festival in 2011, in the Court Metrage section. From that point on, new opportunities were opened to the young filmmaker. Vlad feature directorial debut was the comedy The Last Trip. He is developing several film projects in US, Europe and Asia. Other projects that Vlad worked on are "Lamentables" a touching story of prostitutes that happen in Dubay, "Wild Flower" the rough life of a nun in the Eastern Europe and "Be" the story of doctor Richard Alpert from Harvard University and his journey of bringing LSD in the society.
